Kamal Arafa and the Moonlight band are a five piece, alternative folk band, formed and based in Manchester, England. Their effortless blend of upbeat acoustic folk, orchestral string arrangements, a jumping rhythm section and crisp vocal harmony has defined a sound that is both perceptive and enchanting.
Kamal Arafa and the Moonlight Band regularly perform in and around Manchester. Their shows have included regular appearances at city-based venues, festivals; such as Glastonbury and In the City and performances along side Manchester’s finest; including The Traveling Band and Badly Drawn Boy.
